  1. CSEP V9.7 release:
    1. Installed on csep-op on Wednesday, July 1, 2009
      • Passed unit and acceptance tests
      • Started scheduled re-processing of California's one-day and RELM forecasts groups due to the ANSS catalog fixes
      • Updated forecasts groups with new S and M tests
      • Started processing of S and M tests for forecasts groups for June 1-5, 2009
      • New forecasts groups:
        1. California's three-months-alarm-models-V9.7 with EAST model from Peter Shebalin
        2. Global one-day-models-V9.7 with Kagan-Jackson one-day model using CMT catalog
  2. Software development:
    1. Masha will work on scalar moment magnitude precision for one-line-per-event formatting of CMT catalog:
      • Need to check if existing forecasts models are affected by the change
      • Will validate Yan's global model against fixed catalog
    2. Jeremy provided a fix for N-test due to the comments by David Rhoades and Matt:
      • Have delta1 and delta2 result variables vs. current one delta variable
      • Not necessary to have intermediate release because of the fix
      • May be a target for V9.10.0
      • Daily N-test plot is affected by the change
      • Masha integrated the fix into testing framework, updated plotting and cumulative results functionality to handle new variables
      • Jeremy pointed out that N, L, S and M tests should not display upper uncertainty area for cumulative plots - fixed
  3. mini_CSEP distribution
    • Jeremy suggested to poll community for requirements
      1. N, L, R, M and S tests written in Python
      2. Conversion routines between XML and Matlab for the forecasts
      3. Plots, maps
    • We should provide list of external package dependencies and links to these packages
